Spend time researching your audience. Who are they, where are they and what do they like, the all important things you need to know.
Also study your existing audience. You can roll out customer satisfaction surveys to your current customers to know about their experince. You can send this through email, or if your audience is more social media savvy, you can publish survey links on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other channels to get more insight.
